Improving tests for Myasthenia Gravis

The results showed:
• In patients with high levels of AChR markers, all tests worked well.
• In patients with low levels (the most challenging cases), live cell tests found 83 percent, while fixed cell tests only found 46 percent. The traditional radioimmuno test also worked but requires radioactive materials, making it less practical for many labs.

This shows how important it is to have better tools for detecting low-level cases, where diagnosis can be delayed.
