Neurodiveristy at Work

At AbBaltis, we recognise the value of neurodiversity in the workplace and are committed to creating an inclusive environment where everyone can thrive. In last month’s all-hands meeting, we explored the importance of understanding neurodivergence and how we can better support our team.

We take this seriously and strive to provide reasonable adjustments, continuously improve our approach, and ensure the right support is available for all team members.

As stated below, at AbBaltis, we believe in equity rather than just equality. Equity acknowledges that people have different circumstances and ensures they receive the specific resources or opportunities needed to achieve similar outcomes: "Allowing a student with a hidden disability (ADHD, Anxiety, Dyslexia) to struggle academically or socially when all that is needed for success are appropriate accommodations and explicit instruction is no different than failing to provide a ramp for a person in a wheelchair."

The same principle applies in the workplace- everyone deserves the tools and support they need to succeed.
