📢 Today, we pause to recognize Juneteenth.

It marks the day in 1865 when enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas, finally learned of their freedom, two and a half years after the Emancipation Proclamation. That moment was both a celebration and a reminder of the long road toward justice.

At AbBaltis, we honour Juneteenth not just as a historical milestone, but as a reflection point for our present. The contributions of Black communities in science, medicine, and society have shaped the world we live in, and continue to drive innovation and progress in every industry, including our own.
